Duare Sarkar Kharagpur is scheduled from 24th January 2025 to 1st Feb 2025 under Kharagpur Municipality.
Duare Sarkar is an initiative by the West Bengal Government to deliver services and schemes to the doorstep of West Bengal people.
Started on 1st December 2020 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, these Ward-wise camps are organized under Kharagpur Municipality to deliver the service at door steps.
Under Duare Sarkar Kharagpur, people can take many benefits like Swasthya Sathi Card, Lakshmir Bhandar, Caste Certificates, Student Credit Card, Disability Certificates etc

The main objective of these camps is to ensure all the Government services reach to all the common people easily.

Kanyashree Scheme: This scheme mainly focuses on promoting the education and empowerment of girls by providing financial support to them for their education. Under this scheme, any unmarried girl student aged 13 to 18 years can get Rs. 1000 rupees of Annual Scholarship. One time Rs. 25000 is also awarded to girl students when they turn 18 years old. Applicants are requested to check Duare Sarkar’s Official Website for all the details on this scheme.
Rupashree Scheme – Under this scheme, all low-income families can get financial support of one time Rs. 25,000 for the marriage of their daughters. The girl applicant must be at least 18 years old and family income should be more than 1.5 lakh.
Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme – The main motto of this scheme is to empower economically weaker women by providing them with financial support monthly directly to their bank account. Women applicants with reserved categories are eligible to get Rs. 1200 per month whereas General Category women applicants can get a benefit of Rs. 1000 per month. Applicants can collect the Lakshmir Bhandar Form from Duare Sarkar Kharagpur Camps or can download it online from the official website. All the applicants must be West Bengal Residents for applying these schemes.
Swasthya Sathi Card – This scheme is a health insurance scheme that helps families with medical care at the time of emergency. This scheme was started by the West Bengal Government in December 2016. This scheme provides Cashless medical support to the people of West Bengal. Under this scheme per family can get a benefit of Rs 5 Lakh per year. All the beneficiaries under this scheme will get a Swasthya Sathi Card which is a smart card containing all the details of the candidate.
